The Everyday Holistic

Balance the Mind, Body, and Spirit

I Wonder If This Would Make A Good Trial?

Cold weather is approaching and as one that suffers with SAD, I try everything in my arsenal to overcome those winter blues.  I have just started trying some ‘Rub-On-Bar’ products. A mix of coconut oil, infused olive oil, beeswax, and essential oils for a purpose. Thinking about minimally important things that scream, “winter is coming!” like switching from open toe summer strappy shoes to closed toe winter styles, I am already in prep mode.

Recently I put Flower Essences in lip balms. Great success! Especially with the addition of Five Flower/Rescue Remedy. I wonder if I put Flower Essences in Rub-On-Bars?

It’s worth a try, right? Imagine…that feeling whelming up inside of you. You know the feeling. The one that speeds your heart rate, raises your blood pressure, you feel heat behind your eyes, your emotions come to the surface, and it all comes from nowhere. Realizing this brings on panic, fear, and anxiousness. Then the feeling subsides from a simple application of a creamy, smell good, Rub-On-Bar.

Yep, guess what I’m making tonight…now to consider essential oil additions.

Holistic Health, what does it mean? How hard is it to do? Does it cost a lot of money? To me, it means taking responsibility for your life and working towards balance. It can be hard, as hard as you make it. Everything costs money, how much is up to you. Sometimes the only cost is time. My dream is to teach how to balance life by encompassing varied areas of holistic health and bring the magic of alternative therapies to others.
