Here I Go…

Blogging. I thought about doing it. I started and stopped, but here I am…committed. This is my next step in holistic learning. This post will be short and sweet. Check out the welcome tab to find out who I am and how I came to be here. In a nutshell, I have been taking courses consistently since February 2007. I have certifications for: Nutritional Consultant (NC), Master Herbalist (MH), Holistic Health Practitioner (HHP), Weight Management Coach Practitioner (WMCP), Naturopath, and Classic Homoeopath (cHom). I have earned a Bachelor’s degree (BSHH), Master’s degree (MSHH), and Doctor of Philosophy in Holistic Health (PHDHH), and and Alternative Medicine Diplomate Degree (AMD).

Yep, I’m a big ‘ol nerd and I love it!

I ‘play’ with herbs, essential oils, flower essence therapy, homeopathics, and teas. I make herbal tinctures, oil infusions, lotions, lip butters, salves, soaps, aromatherapy roll-ons and inhalers. I love to learn all I can and try new things. I am self motivated and love to help others.

Here, in this blog, I plan to share my knowledge, continued learning, and what I make with you.

Holistic Health, what does it mean? How hard is it to do? Does it cost a lot of money? To me, it means taking responsibility for your life and working towards balance. It can be hard, as hard as you make it. Everything costs money, how much is up to you. Sometimes the only cost is time. My dream is to teach how to balance life by encompassing varied areas of holistic health and bring the magic of alternative therapies to others.
